In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away (1) Because the blind man came unto him. (2) for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, (3) or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning? (4) For him who does not care, (5) Unto him thou payest regard. (6) Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). (7) As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), (8) And he feareth (9) From him you are distracted. (10) Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, (11) So let whosoever will pay heed to it, (12) (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, (13) Exalted, purified, (14) by the hands of scribes (15) Noble and righteous. (16) Perish the human! How unthankful he is! (17) Of what [stuff] has He created him? (18) From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; (19) Then the way He made easy. (20) then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, (21) Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again. (22) By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. (23) Let the human reflect on the food he eats, (24) We let the rain pour down in torrents (25) and split the earth, splitting, (26) And We made corn grow, (27) And Grapes and nutritious plants, (28) And Olives and Dates, (29) and dense-tree'd gardens, (30) and fruits, and pastures, (31) (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. (32) But when the deafening cry shall be sounded (33) upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother, (34) And his mother and his father, (35) As well as his wife and children. (36) on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. (37) Many a face will be glittering on that day. (38) Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). (39) Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, (40) and veiled with darkness. (41) Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. (42)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
