Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
