By the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 From the guilty. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
