You can never have extended virtue and righteousness unless you spend part of what you dearly love for the cause of God. God knows very well whatever you spend for His cause. (92) ۞ Every foods was allowable unto the Children of Isra'il, save that which Isra'il had forbidden unto himself, ere the Taurat was revealed. Say thou: bring ye then the Taurat and recite it, if ye say sooth. (93) And whoever shall invent a falsehood after that concerning Allah, such will be wrong-doers. (94) Say: 'Allah has said the truth. Follow the Creed of Abraham, he was of pure faith, and not an idolater' (95) The first House of God to be set up for men was at Bakkah the blessed, a guidance for the people of the world. (96) In it are clear signs the place where Ibrahim stood (is one of them); and whoever enters it shall be safe; and performing the Hajj (pilgrimage) of this house, for the sake of Allah, is a duty upon mankind, for those who can reach it; and whoever disbelieves then Allah is Independent (Unwanting) of the entire creation! (97) Say: 'People of the Book, why do you disbelieve in the signs of God? Surely God is witness of the things you do.' (98) Say thou: O people of the Book! wherefore turn ye aside from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking for it crookedness, while ye are witnesses! And Allah is not neglectful of that which ye work. (99) O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed! (100) And how can you disbelieve, whereas Allah’s verses are recited to you and His Noble Messenger is present amongst you?! And whoever takes the support of Allah is indeed guided to the right path.
