Hizb 7
Juz 4
You will never come to piety unless you spend of things you love; and whatever you spend is known to God. (92) ۞ All food (that is lawful in the Law revealed to Muhammad) was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful to themselves before the revelation of the Torah. Tell them: 'Bring the Torah and recite any passage of it if you are truthful.' (93) Those who falsely fix lies upon Allah despite this are the wrong-doers. (94) Say: "God has veritably spoken the truth. So now follow the way of Abraham the upright, who was not of idolaters." (95) The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: (96) In (Bakka), there are many clear signs (evidence of the existence of God). Among them is the spot where Abraham stood. Whoever seeks refuge therein will be protected by the laws of amnesty. Those who have the means and ability have a duty to God to visit the House and perform the hajj (pilgrimage) rituals. The unbelievers should know that God is Independent of all creatures. (97) Say: 'People of the Book, why do you disbelieve the verses of Allah? Surely, Allah is witness to all that you do' (98) Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “O People given the Book(s)! Why do you prevent those who have accepted faith from the way of Allah, seeking to cause deviation in it, whereas you yourselves are witnesses to it? And Allah is not unaware of your deeds!” (99) O you who believe! If you obey a group of those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians), they would (indeed) render you disbelievers after you have believed! (100) How can ye disbelieve, when it is ye unto whom Allah's revelations are recited, and His messenger is in your midst? He who holdeth fast to Allah, he indeed is guided unto a right path. (101)
