Hizb 7
Juz 4
You shall not attain righteousness until you spend out of what you love (in the way of Allah). Allah knows whatever you spend. (92) ۞ ALL FOOD was lawful unto the children of Israel, save what Israel had made unlawful unto itself [by its sinning] before the Torah was bestowed from on high. Say: "Come forward, then, with the Torah and recite it, if what you say is true!" (93) Then whosoever fabricateth, after this, a lie against Allah - these! they are the wrong-doers. (94) (Muhammad), say, "God has spoken the Truth. Follow the upright tradition of Abraham who was not an idolater." (95) Verily the first House set apart unto mankind was that at Bakka, blest, and a guidance unto the worlds. (96) In (Bakka), there are many clear signs (evidence of the existence of God). Among them is the spot where Abraham stood. Whoever seeks refuge therein will be protected by the laws of amnesty. Those who have the means and ability have a duty to God to visit the House and perform the hajj (pilgrimage) rituals. The unbelievers should know that God is Independent of all creatures. (97) Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?" (98) Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Why do you [endeavour to] bar those who have come to believe [in this divine writ] from the path of God by trying to make it appear crooked, when you yourselves bear witness [to its being straight]? For, God is not unaware of what you do." (99) O believers, if you obey a sect of those who have been given the Book, they will turn you, after you have believed, into unbelievers. (100) How can you disbelieve when the verses of Allah are recited to you and His Messenger is among you! He who holds fast to Allah shall be guided to the Straight Path. (101)
