Hizb 7
Juz 4
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. (92) ۞ All food was lawful for the Descendants of Israel (Jacob), except what Israel forbade for himself, before the Taurat (Torah) was sent down; say, “Bring the Taurat and read it, if you are truthful.” (93) If any, after this, invent a lie and attribute it to Allah, they are indeed unjust wrong-doers. (94) (Muhammad), say, "God has spoken the Truth. Follow the upright tradition of Abraham who was not an idolater." (95) Behold, the first Temple ever set up for mankind was indeed the one at Bakkah: rich in blessing, and a [source of] guidance unto all the worlds, (96) In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. (97) Say: 'People of the Book, why do you disbelieve in the signs of God? Surely God is witness of the things you do.' (98) Say: 'People of the Book, why do you bar he who believes from the Path of Allah and seek to make it crooked, when you yourselves are witnesses? Allah is not inattentive of what you do' (99) O believers, if you obey a sect of those who have been given the Book, they will turn you, after you have believed, into unbelievers. (100) And how could you deny the truth when it is unto you that God's messages are being conveyed, and it is in your midst that His Apostle lives? But he who holds fast unto God has already been guided onto a straight way. (101)
