He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. (15) Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking? (16) Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? (17) Those before them had also denied. And how was My punishment then! (18) Do they not see the birds above them flying wings spread out or folded? Nothing holds them aloft but God. All things are within His purview. (19) Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. (20) Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth). (21) Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? (22) Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." (23) Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". (24) They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth. (25) Say: "God alone has knowledge. My duty is only to warn you clearly." (26) So when they will see it close, the faces of the disbelievers will become ghastly, and it will be declared, “This is what you were demanding.” (27) Say thou: bethink ye if Allah destroy me and those with me; or have mercy on us, who will protect the infidels from a torment afflictive? (28) Say thou: He is the Compassionate; in Him we have believed, and in Him we have put our trust. And anon ye will know who it is that is in error manifest. (29) Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?" (30)
