Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
18 verses, revealed in Medina after Prohibition (Al-Tahreem) before The Column (Al-Suff)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify God. To Him belongs the Kingdom and all praise. He has power over all things. (1) It is He Who has created you, so among you one is a disbeliever whereas another is a Muslim; and Allah is seeing your deeds. (2) He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal. (3) He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you hide and what you manifest; and Allah is Cognizant of what is in the hearts. (4) Has not the account of those who disbelieved before come to you, who tasted the torment of their action, and for whom is grievous punishment? (5) That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise. (6) The unbelievers think that they will never be raised up. Say: 'By my Lord, yes indeed, you shall assuredly be raised up! Then you shall be told of all that you have done. That is easy for Allah' (7) Therefore believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Light which We have revealed; and Allah is Aware of what you do. (8) On the day that He will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will remove from him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the great achievement. (9) Those who did not believe and denied Our revelations will be inmates of Hell, where they will abide for ever, and how evil a journey's end! (10)
