Hizb 53
Juz 27
AND HAS the story of Abraham's honoured guests ever come within thy ken? (24) When those [heavenly messengers] came unto him and bade him peace, he answered, "[And upon you be] peace!" - [saying to himself,] "They are strangers." (25) Then he turned quickly to his household, brought out a fatted calf, (26) He placed it before them. Then he said, "Why are you not eating?" (27) He therefore inwardly sensed fear of them; they said, “Do not fear!”; and they gave him the glad tidings of a knowledgeable son. (28) So his wife came screaming, and striking her forehead cried, “What! For a barren old woman?” (29) They said: Even so saith thy Lord. Lo! He is the Wise, the Knower. (30) ۞ He said: "What is then your business, O messengers?" (31) They said: verily we are sent unto a people, guilty. (32) that we may unleash a shower of clay-stones (33) Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). (34) Then we brought forth such believers as were there. (35) We therefore found just one house over there that was Muslim. (36) And so We left therein a message for those who fear the grievous suffering [which awaits all evildoers]. (37) There is another sign in Moses: We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority. (38) But (Pharaoh) turned back with his Chiefs, and said, "A sorcerer, or one possessed!" (39) We therefore seized him and his army and threw them into the sea, while he was blaming himself. (40) And in the tribe of A’ad, when we sent a dry windstorm upon them. (41) that left nothing it came upon, except that it was ashes. (42) There is also evidence (of the Truth) in the story of the Thamud, who were told to enjoy themselves for an appointed time. (43) Then they disdained the command of their Lord; wherefore the bolt laid hold of them even while they looked on. (44) So they were not able to rise up, nor could they defend themselves- (45) And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk. (46)
