Hizb 53
Juz 27
Did the news of Ibrahim’s honourable guests reach you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him)? (24) When they came in unto him and said: peace! he said: peace! people unknown. (25) Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf, (26) And placed it before them.. he said, "Will ye not eat?" (27) He therefore inwardly sensed fear of them; they said, “Do not fear!”; and they gave him the glad tidings of a knowledgeable son. (28) Then his wife came forward, crying and beating her brow. She said, "I am surely a barren, old woman." (29) They said: even so saith thine Lord. Verily He! He is the Wise, the Knower. (30) ۞ Said Ibrahim, “What is your task, O the sent angels?” (31) They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin;- (32) so that we may bring down upon them a shower of stones of clay, (33) Sent forth from your Lord for the extravagant. (34) So We brought out from therein the believers. (35) And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims. (36) And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment. (37) And in Moosa, when We sent him with a clear proof towards Firaun. (38) The Pharaoh and his forces turned away from him, saying, "He is either a magician or an insane person". (39) So We seized him and his hosts and cast them into the sea. Indeed, he was blameworthy. (40) And in Aad. We let loose on them a withering wind (41) It left out nothing in its path, but which it split up into fragments. (42) And in Thamud, when We said to them: "Enjoy yourselves for a while;" (43) But they rebelled against the command of their Lord. So the thunderbolt overtook them while they looked on: (44) for they were unable even to rise, and could not defend themselves. (45) And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient. (46)
