Hizb 53
Juz 27
(O Prophet), did the story of Abraham's honoured guests reach you? (24) When they came to him they said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" [saying to himself]. "They are strangers." (25) Then he turned quietly to his household, and brought forth a fat [roasted] calf, (26) He then presented it before them and said, “Do you not eat?” (27) Then he conceived a fear of them. They said, 'Be not afraid!' And they gave him good tidings of a cunning boy. (28) So his wife came screaming, and striking her forehead cried, “What! For a barren old woman?” (29) They said, "This is true but your Lord has said, (that you will have a son); He is All-wise and All-knowing". (30) ۞ [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" (31) They replied: “Behold, we have been sent to a wicked people (32) That we may send upon them stones of clay, (33) Marked by your Lord for those who waste their substance." (34) Then we brought forth such believers as were there. (35) but We found only one Muslim house. (36) And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment. (37) There is another sign in Moses: We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority. (38) and he turned away in [the pride of] his power and said, "A sorcerer [is this Moses,] or a madman!" (39) So We seized him and his hosts, and We cast them into the sea, and he blameworthy. (40) And in the tribe of A’ad, when we sent a dry windstorm upon them. (41) It left out nothing in its path, but which it split up into fragments. (42) And in Samood: When it was said to them: Enjoy yourselves for a while. (43) But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the rumbling overtook them while they saw. (44) They were unable to stand up, nor were they helped. (45) And before them the nation of Noah, indeed they were a debauched nation. (46)
