Hizb 53
Juz 27
Has the story of Abraham's honoured guests come to you? (24) When they came to him they said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" [saying to himself]. "They are strangers." (25) So he hurried to the house and brought a fatted calf, (26) He placed it before them. Then he said, "Why are you not eating?" (27) Then he conceived a fear of them. They said, 'Be not afraid!' And they gave him good tidings of a cunning boy. (28) Thereupon his wife approached [the guests] with a loud cry, and struck her face [in astonishment] and exclaimed: "A barren old woman [like me]!" (29) 'Such, says your Lord' they replied: 'He is the Wise, the Knower' (30) ۞ [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?" (31) They replied, "We have been sent to a sinful people, (32) so that we bring down stones of clay upon them (33) marked by your Lord for the sinful' (34) So We evacuated everyone who was a believer there, (35) We found in it only one household of true believers -- (36) We left a sign in this for those who fear the grievous punishment, (37) And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, (38) In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.” (39) We therefore seized him and his army and threw them into the sea, while he was blaming himself. (40) In 'Ad (also is a sign), when We sent a blasting wind against them, (41) and it destroyed everything over which it passed and reduced it to dust. (42) In the Thamud [there was another sign], when they were told, "Make the most of your lives for a while." (43) But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord: So the stunning noise (of an earthquake) seized them, even while they were looking on. (44) They were unable even to stand up or protect themselves. (45) [We destroyed] the people of Noah before them. They were certainly a sinful people. (46)
