Hizb 53
Juz 27
Hath there come unto thee the story of Ibrahim's honoured guests? (24) When they entered unto him, saying 'Peace!' he said 'Peace! You are a people unknown to me.' (25) So he turned to his household and brought a fattened calf. (26) And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?" (27) He felt afraid of them; but they said: "Have no fear," and gave him the good news of a wise son. (28) Then came forward his wife, clamouring, and she smote her face, and said, 'An old woman, barren!' (29) They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." (30) ۞ Abraham said: “Envoys (of Allah), what is your errand?” (31) They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin;- (32) to bring down upon them showers of marked lumps of clayy. (33) Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). (34) Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, (35) But We found there but one house of those surrendered (to Allah). (36) and We left therein a Sign for those who fear the grievous chastisement. (37) And in Musa also was a lesson, when We sent him unto Fir'awn with authority manifest. (38) In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.” (39) So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea and he was blamable. (40) And in the 'Ad (people) (was another Sign): Behold, We sent against them the devastating Wind: (41) that left nothing it came upon, but made it as stuff decayed. (42) And also in Thamood, when it was said to them, 'Take your enjoyment for a while!' (43) But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the rumbling overtook them while they saw. (44) They were unable to stand up, nor were they helped. (45) [We destroyed] the people of Noah before them. They were certainly a sinful people. (46)
