Hizb 53
Juz 27
Did the news of Ibrahim’s honourable guests reach you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him)? (24) When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me). (25) Then he turned away privately unto his household, and brought a calf fatted. (26) So he brought it near them. He said: What! will you not eat? (27) He began to feel afraid. They said, "Do not be afraid," and then gave him the glad news of the birth of a knowledgeable son. (28) Thereupon his wife approached [the guests] with a loud cry, and struck her face [in astonishment] and exclaimed: "A barren old woman [like me]!" (29) They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." (30) ۞ 'Messengers' said he (Abraham), 'what is your errand' (31) They replied: 'We are sent to a sinful nation, (32) “To throw upon them stones of baked clay.” (33) “That are kept marked, with your Lord, for the transgressors.” (34) So We evacuated everyone who was a believer there, (35) And We found not therein more than one house of the Muslims. (36) And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment. (37) In Moses, too, (there were signs). We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority, (38) In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.” (39) So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed. (40) And in (the tribe of) A'ad (there is a portent) when we sent the fatal wind against them. (41) It spared naught that it reached, but made it (all) as dust. (42) And in the tribe of Thamud when it was told to them, “Enjoy for a while.” (43) But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on. (44) And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves. (45) (So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). (46)
