Hizb 53
Juz 27
Hath there come unto thee the story of Ibrahim's honoured guests? (24) They entered to him and said: 'Peace' And he replied: 'Peace, you are people unknown to me' (25) He went quietly to his wife and returned to his guests with a fat, roasted calf. (26) and he laid it before them saying, 'Will you not eat?' (27) Then he conceived a fear of them. They said, 'Be not afraid!' And they gave him good tidings of a cunning boy. (28) So hearing his wife went forth shouting. She struck her face and exclaimed: “A barren old woman am I.” (29) They said: "Thus said your Lord. He is indeed all-wise and all-knowing." (30) ۞ Abraham asked, "What is your errand, O messengers?" (31) They said: verily we are sent unto a people, guilty. (32) "To bring on, on them, (a shower of) stones of clay (brimstone), (33) Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). (34) We saved all the faithful in the town. (35) and We did not find there any, apart from a single house of Muslims (36) And We kept a sign remaining in it, for those who fear the painful punishment. (37) And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, (38) But he turned away with his forces and said: A magician or a mad man. (39) So We seized him and his hosts, and We cast them into the sea, and he blameworthy. (40) And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; (41) Which turned everything it touched to ashes. (42) There is also a Sign for you in (the story of) Thamud. They were told: “Enjoy yourselves for a while.” (43) But they brazenly disobeyed their Lord's command, and then a sudden chastisement overtook them while they looked on. (44) So they were neither able to stand up, nor were they able to take revenge. (45) So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed. (46)
