Hizb 53
Juz 27
Have you heard the story of Abraham's honored guests? (24) When they entered unto him, saying 'Peace!' he said 'Peace! You are a people unknown to me.' (25) So he turned to his household and brought a fattened calf. (26) and he laid it before them saying, 'Will you not eat?' (27) He began to feel afraid. They said, "Do not be afraid," and then gave him the glad news of the birth of a knowledgeable son. (28) Then came forward his wife, clamouring, and she smote her face, and said, 'An old woman, barren!' (29) They said, "Even so has thy Lord spoken: and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge." (30) ۞ Abraham asked, "What is your errand, O messengers?" (31) They replied: 'We are sent to a sinful nation, (32) To send down upon them stones of baked clay. (33) marked by your Lord for the sinful' (34) Then we brought forth such believers as were there. (35) And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims. (36) And therein We left a sign to those who fear the painful chastisement. (37) And in Moses (was another Sign): Behold, We sent him to Pharaoh, with authority manifest. (38) But Pharaoh turned away, showing arrogance on account of his power, and said (about Moses): “He is either a sorcerer or a madman.” (39) So We seized him and his armies, and threw them into the sea, for he was worthy of blame. (40) And in the 'Ad (people) (was another Sign): Behold, We sent against them the devastating Wind: (41) It left not aught whereon it came but it made it as matter decayed. (42) And in the Thamud (was another Sign): Behold, they were told, "Enjoy (your brief day) for a little while!" (43) But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking. (44) Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. (45) And the people of Noah before; surely they were an ungodly people. (46)
