Hizb 53
Juz 27
Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)? (24) When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me). (25) Then he turned away privately unto his household, and brought a calf fatted. (26) And placing it before them said: "Won't you eat?" (27) [And when he saw that the guests would not eat,] he became apprehensive of them; [but] they said, "Fear not" - and gave him the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who would be endowed with deep knowledge. (28) (Sarah) his wife came with an exclamation and clasped her face, and said: 'Surely, I am a barren old woman' (29) They said, “This is how your Lord has decreed; indeed He only is the Wise, the All Knowing.” (30) ۞ (Abraham) said: And (afterward) what is your errand, O ye sent (from Allah)? (31) They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); (32) So as to let loose clods of clay on them (33) “That are kept marked, with your Lord, for the transgressors.” (34) Then We evacuated there from all the believers (35) But We did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (the Muslims). (36) and We left therein a Sign for those who fear the grievous chastisement. (37) As (there was) in Moses when We sent him to the Pharaoh with clear authority. (38) But he turned away with his forces and said: A magician or a mad man. (39) So We seized him and his hosts and cast them into the sea. Indeed, he was blameworthy. (40) And in the tribe of A’ad, when we sent a dry windstorm upon them. (41) It did not leave aught on which it blew, but it made it like ashes. (42) And in (the tribe of) Thamud (there is a portent) when it was told them: Take your ease awhile. (43) They transgressed against the command of their Lord. So a blast of sound struck them and they were unable to do anything but stare. (44) they could not stand up again, nor could they defend themselves. (45) And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient. (46)
