Hizb 53
Juz 27
Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)? (24) When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me). (25) Then he went back to his family and brought a fat roasted calf (26) And placing it before them said: "Won't you eat?" (27) Then he conceived a fear about them, and they said: 'Have no fear', and gave him the glad tidings that he was to have a knowledgeable son. (28) Thereupon his wife approached [the guests] with a loud cry, and struck her face [in astonishment] and exclaimed: "A barren old woman [like me]!" (29) They said, “This is how your Lord has decreed; indeed He only is the Wise, the All Knowing.” (30) ۞ (Abraham) said: And (afterward) what is your errand, O ye sent (from Allah)? (31) They said: verily we are sent unto a people, guilty. (32) to loose upon them stones of clay (33) marked by your Lord for the sinful' (34) Thus We brought forth from therein who were believers. (35) But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house: (36) and We left therein a Sign for those who fear the grievous chastisement. (37) There is also a Sign for you in the story of Moses when We sent him with a clear authority to Pharaoh. (38) But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: "A sorcerer, or a madman." (39) So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed. (40) There is also a Sign for you in (the story of) Ad, when We let loose upon them an ominous wind (41) that left nothing it came upon, except that it was ashes. (42) And in Thamud's also was a lesson, when it was said unto them: enjoy yourselves for a season. (43) But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on. (44) and they were not able to stand upright, and were not helped. (45) And before them the nation of Noah, indeed they were a debauched nation. (46)
