In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! (1) But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! (2) Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" (3) We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). (4) Nay, but they [who refuse to believe in resurrection] have been wont to give the lie to this truth whenever it was proffered to them; and so they are in a state of confusion. (5) So did they not see the sky above them how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? (6) And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- (7) To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). (8) And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; (9) And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, (10) A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). (11) And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. (12) And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. (13) and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. (14) Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? (15)
