In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ O YOU WHO believe, do not forestall the judgements of God and His Apostle, and have fear of God. Verily God hears all and knows everything. (1) O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet (SAW), nor speak aloud to him in talk as you speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds may be rendered fruitless while you perceive not. (2) Verily those who lower their voices in the presence of the apostle of Allah - those are they whose hearts Allah hath disposed unto piety: theirs will be forgiveness and a mighty hire. (3) Surely those who call unto thee from behind the apartments, the most of them do not understand. (4) And if they had patience, until thou comest out to them, that would be better for them; and God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. (5) O you who believe, if a dissolute person brings some news, verify it first lest you attack a people ignorantly and later regret what you had done. (6) and know that the Messenger of God is among you. If he were to obey you in many things, you would suffer for it. However, God has endeared the faith to you, and beautified it in your hearts, and has made denial of the truth, wickedness, and disobedience hateful to you. People such as these are rightly guided (7) (This is) a Grace from Allah and His Favour. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (8) If two parties of the believers happen to fight, make peace between them. But then, if one of them transgresses against the other, fight the one that transgresses until it reverts to Allah's command. And if it does revert, make peace between them with justice, and be equitable for Allah loves the equitable. (9) Believers are each other's brothers. Restore peace among your brothers. Have fear of God so that perhaps you will receive mercy. (10)
