Juz 26
Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
29 verses, revealed in Medina after Friday (Al-Jumu'ah) before The Feast (Al-Maa 'edah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
(O Prophet), surely We have granted you a clear victory (1) That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His Favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path; (2) and [show] that God will succour thee with [His] mighty succour. (3) He it is Who bestowed inner peace on the hearts of the believers so that they may grow yet more firm in their faith. To Allah belong the legions of the heavens and the earth; Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise. (4) He hath ordained war in order that He may cause the believing men and the believing women enter Gardens whereunder rivers flow, as abiders therein, and that He may expiate from them their misdeeds. And that is with Allah ever an achievement mighty. (5) And that He may punish the Munafiqun (hypocrites), men and women, and also the Mushrikun men and women, who think evil thoughts about Allah, for them is a disgraceful torment, and the Anger of Allah is upon them, and He has cursed them and prepared Hell for them, and worst indeed is that destination. (6) And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. (7) We have sent you forth as a witness and a bearer of good tidings and a warner, (8) That you may believe in Allah and His Apostle and may aid him and revere him; and (that) you may declare His glory, morning and evening. (9) Those who swear allegiance to you indeed swear allegiance to God; and God's protection is over them. Then whosoever breaks the promise breaks it to his own loss; but whosoever fulfills the promise made to God will receive a great reward from Him. (10)
