Muhammad (Muhammad)
38 verses, revealed in Medina after Iron (Al-Hadeed) before Thunder (Al-Ra'ad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Allah has destroyed the deeds of those who disbelieved and prevented from Allah’s way. (1) As for the believers who do good works and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad which is the truth from their Lord He will acquit them of their sins and repair their condition. (2) That is because those who refuse to believe only follow what is false; but those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. That is how God gives men precepts of wisdom. (3) So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds. (4) Anon He shall guide them, and shall make good their state. (5) He will admit them into the Garden He has already made known to them. (6) O you who have attained to faith! If you help [the cause of] God, He will help you, and will make firm your steps; (7) The fate of the disbelievers will be to stumble and their deeds will have no virtuous results; (8) That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. (9) ۞ Have they not travelled then on the earth so that they might see how hath been the end of those before them! Allah annihilated them. And for the infidels theirs shall be the like fate therefore. (10) that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. (11)
