Juz 26
Muhammad (Muhammad)
38 verses, revealed in Medina after Iron (Al-Hadeed) before Thunder (Al-Ra'ad)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
God has made devoid of all virtue the deeds of those who have disbelieved and prevented others from the way of God. (1) God forgives the sins and reforms the hearts of the righteously striving believers who have faith in what is revealed to Muhammad - which is the Truth from his Lord. (2) This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes. (3) If you encounter the disbelievers in a battle, strike-off their heads. Take them as captives when they are defeated. Then you may set them free as a favor to them, with or without a ransom, when the battle is over. This is the Law. Had God wanted, He could have granted them (unbelievers) victory, but He wants to test you through each other. The deeds of those who are killed for the cause of God will never be without virtuous results. (4) Soon will He guide them and improve their condition, (5) and He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. (6) Believers, if you help Allah, He will help you and strengthen your feet. (7) but as for those who are bent on denying the truth, ill fortune awaits them, since He will let all their [good] deeds go to waste: (8) That is because they have been averse to what God has sent down, so He has made their works to fail. (9) ۞ So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them; and for the disbelievers are several like it. (10) This is so for God is the friend of those who believe while the unbelievers have no friend. (11)
