Juz 26
Muhammad (Muhammad)
38 verses, revealed in Medina after Iron (Al-Hadeed) before Thunder (Al-Ra'ad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. (1) As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. (2) That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons. (3) Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. (4) He will guide them and amend their condition (5) and He will admit them to Paradise, that He has made known to them. (6) O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. (7) but as for those who are bent on denying the truth, ill fortune awaits them, since He will let all their [good] deeds go to waste: (8) That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. (9) ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. (10) That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector. (11)
