۞ It is Allah Who has subjected the sea for you so that ships may sail upon it by His command, and for you to seek His munificence, and so that you may give thanks. (12) He has subjected whatever is in heaven and on the earth to you; it is all from Him. In that are signs for those who ponder. (13) Say thou unto those who believe, let them forgive those who hope not for the days of Allah, that He may requite a community for that which they have been earning. (14) He who does what is right does it for his own gain, and he who does evil does so at his own loss, then to your Lord you shall all return. (15) And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of their time, during that period), (16) And We gave them clear proofs in the command; so they did not differ except after the knowledge had come to them due to jealousy among themselves; indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matter in which they differ. (17) And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not. (18) They can be of no avail to you against God. The wrongdoers are friends of one another, while the friend of the righteous is God. (19) This is clear indication for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a folk whose faith is sure. (20) Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge. (21)
