Juz 25
Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
37 verses, revealed in Mecca after Smoke (Al-Dukhaan) before The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha; Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah, and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) (1) This Book is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. (2) Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. (3) In your creation and in that of the beasts living on earth there is evidence of the Truth for the people who have strong faith. (4) And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense. (5) These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? (6) Woe to every sinful liar, (7) Who hears the revelations of God being recited to him, yet persists in denying with arrogance as though he had never heard them! So warn him of a painful punishment. (8) When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment. (9) Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. (10) This is the (true) guidance; and for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord is the severest of painful punishments. (11)
