Whatever affliction may visit you is for what you own hands have earned; and He pardons much. (30) And you cannot escape in the earth; and you have neither a friend nor any supporter against Allah. (31) And among His Signs are the ships, smooth-running through the ocean, (tall) as mountains. (32) If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful. (33) Or He can cause them to perish because of the (evil) which (the men) have earned; but much doth He forgive. (34) And (that) those who dispute about Our communications may know; there is no place of refuge for them. (35) Whatever you have received is just a means of enjoyment for this life but the reward of God for the believers and those who trust in their Lord will be better and everlasting. (36) who refrain from heinous sins and gross indecencies; who forgive when they are angry; (37) And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish prayer and whose affair being matter of counsel among themselves, and who of that wherewith We have provided them expend. (38) and who, whenever tyranny afflicts them, defend themselves. (39) The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong. (40) And whoever defends himself after his being oppressed, these it is against whom there is no way (to blame). (41) The way (to blame) is only against those who oppress men and revolt in the earth unjustly; these shall have a painful punishment. (42) And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah. (43)
