Hizb 49
Juz 25
And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa the Book, and difference arose concerning it; and had not a word gone forth from thy Lord, the affair would have been decreed between them. And verily they are in regard thereto in doubt dubitating. (45) Whoever does what is just and right, does so for his own good; and whoever does evil, does so to his own detriment: and God is never in the least unjust to His creatures. (46) ۞ The knowledge of the Hour rests solely with Him. Not a fruit comes forth from its sheath, nor does any female conceive nor give birth to a child but it is in His knowledge. On that Day He will call out to them: “Where are those associates of Mine?” They will answer: “We have declared to You that none of us can bear witness to that.” (47) [the deities] they invoked before will have vanished; they will know that there is no escape. (48) Man never tires of asking for the good things of life; but if evil fortune befalls him, he abandons all hope, giving himself up to despair. (49) And truly, if We give him a taste of mercy from us, after some adversity (severe poverty or disease, etc.) has touched him, he is sure to say: "This is for me (due to my merit), I think not that the Hour will be established. But if I am brought back to my Lord, Surely, there will be for me the best (wealth, etc.) with Him. Then, We verily, will show to the disbelievers what they have done and We shall make them taste a severe torment. (50) And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away, but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications. (51) Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “What is your opinion if this Qur’an is from Allah and then you deny it so who is more astray than whoever is in extreme opposition?” (52) We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness? (53) Yet they still doubt that they will ever meet their Lord. Surely, He encompasses all things. (54)
Almighty God's Truth.
