Juz 3
The Amramites (Al-Imraan)
200 verses, revealed in Medina after The Spoils of War (Al-Anfaal) before The Parties (Al-Ahzaab)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Alif Lam Mim. (1) Allah, (there is) no god but He, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all things subsist (2) He hath revealed unto thee the Book with truth confirming that which went before it; and He sent down the Taurat and Injil. (3) aforetime, as a guidance unto mankind, and it is He who has bestowed [upon man] the standard by which to discern the true from the false. Behold, as for those who are bent on denying God's messages - grievous suffering awaits them: for God is almighty, an avenger of evil. (4) From God nothing whatever is hidden in heaven and earth. (5) It is He who forms you in the womb as He will. There is no god but He, the All-mighty, the All-wise. (6) It is He who has sent down the Book to you. Some of its verses are clear and precise in meaning, they are the basis of the Book, while others are allegorical. Those with deviation in their hearts pursue the allegorical, so as to create dissension by seeking to explain it: but no one knows its meaning except God. Those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say, "We believe in it: it is all from our Lord." But only the wise take heed. (7) “Our Lord! Do not deviate our hearts after You have guided us, and bestow mercy on us from Yourself; indeed You only are the Great Bestower.” (8) Lord, You will surely gather all the people for a Day that will come in which there is no doubt' Allah will not break His promise. (9)
