Juz 3
The Amramites (Al-Imraan)
200 verses, revealed in Medina after The Spoils of War (Al-Anfaal) before The Parties (Al-Ahzaab)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Alif Lam Mim. (1) GOD - there is no deity save Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being! (2) He has verily revealed to you this Book, in truth and confirmation of the Books revealed before, as indeed He had revealed the Torah and the Gospel (3) aforetime, as guidance to the people, and He sent down the Salvation. As for those who disbelieve in God's signs, for them awaits a terrible chastisement; God is All-mighty, Vengeful. (4) Verily, nothing on earth or in the heavens is hidden from God. (5) it is He who shapes you in the womb as He will. There is no deity save Him, the Mighty, the Wise One. (6) It is God who has revealed the Book to you in which some verses are clear statements (which accept no interpretation) and these are the fundamental ideas of the Book, while other verses may have several possibilities. Those whose hearts are perverse, follow the unclear statements in pursuit of their own mischievous goals by interpreting them in a way that will suit their own purpose. No one knows its true interpretations except God and those who have a firm grounding in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All its verses are from our Lord." No one can grasp this fact except the people of reason. (7) Our Lord, make not our hearts to swerve after that Thou hast guided us; and give us mercy from Thee; Thou art the Giver. (8) You will gather mankind together, O Lord, on a day that is certain to come, and God does not fail in His promise. (9)
