And he who believed said: O my people! Follow me. I will show you the way of right conduct. (38) “O my people! The life of this world is just a brief usage, and indeed the next abode is one of everlasting stay.” (39) "Whosoever does an evil deed, will not be requited except the like thereof, and whosoever does a righteous deed, whether male or female and is a true believer (in the Oneness of Allah), such will enter Paradise, where they will be provided therein (with all things in abundance) without limit. (40) ۞ "And O my people! How is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire! (41) You are asking me to disbelieve in God, and to associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, yet I invite you to the all-mighty, all-forgiving. (42) “So it is self evident that what you call me towards has no benefit being prayed to, either in this world or in the Hereafter, and that our return is towards Allah, and that the transgressors only are the people of the fire.” (43) And ye will remember what I say unto you. I confide my cause unto Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of (His) slaves. (44) And God preserved him from the evil of their scheming, whereas suffering vile was to encompass Pharaoh's folk: (45) In front of the Fire will they be brought, morning and evening: And (the sentence will be) on the Day that Judgment will be established: "Cast ye the People of Pharaoh into the severest Penalty!" (46) When they dispute with one another in the Fire, the weak will say to those who deemed themselves mighty, "We were your followers; will you then relieve us of some of the Fire?" (47) The arrogant will answer: "All of us are in it. Surely God has judged between His creatures." (48) Those in the Fire will say to its keepers, "Implore your Lord to relieve our torment for one day," (49) The keepers will ask them, "Did your Messengers not come to you with illustrious evidence (of the Truth)? They will reply, "Yes, they did." The keepers will then say, "You may pray but the prayer of the disbelievers will not be answered". (50)
