Hizb 47
Juz 24
۞ And who could be more wicked than he who invents lies about God? and gives the lie to the truth as soon as it has been placed before him? Is not hell the [proper] abode for all who deny the truth? (32) And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous. (33) For them is whatever they wish, before their Lord; this is the reward of the virtuous. (34) And to this end, God will efface from their record the worst that they ever did, and give them their reward in accordance with the best that they were doing [in life]. (35) Is not Allah Sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship) besides Him! And whom Allah sends astray, for him there will be no guide. (36) And no one can mislead whomever Allah guides; is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Avenger? (37) And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth? they will surely say: Allah. Say thou: bethink ye then that those whom ye call upon beside Allah, could they if Allah intended some hurt for me, remove His hurt? or if He intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy? Say thou: enough for me is Allah; in Him the trusting put their trust. (38) Say thou: my nation! work according to your condition; I am going to work in my way; presently ye shall come to know. (39) "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment." (40) BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. (41)
