Is he whose bosom Allah hath expanded for Al-Islam, so that he followeth a light from his Lord, (as he who disbelieveth)? Then woe unto those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah. Such are in plain error. (22) Allah hath revealed the most excellent discourse, a Book consimilar oft-repeated, whereat trembleth the skins of these who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. This is Allah's guidance, wherewith He guideth whomsoever He will. And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. (23) Is he whose face is cautious of the evil of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (to be compared to the unbeliever)! To the evildoers it shall be said: 'Now taste that which you have been earning' (24) Those before them denied, and so the doom came on them whence they knew not. (25) Allah let them taste degradation in this present life, but the punishment of the Everlasting Life shall be greater if they but knew. (26) And We have indeed illustrated examples of all kinds in this Qur’an, so that they may ponder. (27) The Qur’an in Arabic, having no deviation at all, so that they may be pious. (28) Allah coineth a similitude: A man in relation to whom are several part-owners, quarrelling, and a man belonging wholly to one man. Are the two equal in similitude? Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not. (29) Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die. (30) Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord. (31)
