Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, (65) Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' (66) Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. (67) [how can] you turn away from it?" (68) I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; (69) This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' (70) When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. (71) After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” (72) And the angels did obeisance, all of them, (73) Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. (74) Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). (75) He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". (76) Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. (77) Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." (78) But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," (79) The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite (80) Till the appointed day." (81) [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, (82) Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. (83) Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak (84) I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' (85) (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. (86) It is but a reminder to the worlds. (87) “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” (88)
