And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) (139) When he ran to the laden ship, (140) And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). (141) So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, (142) And had he not been of those who hallow Him, (143) he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: (144) ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. (145) and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. (146) We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. (147) And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. (148) Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! (149) Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? (150) Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: (151) 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. (152) Has He chosen daughters over sons? (153) “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” (154) Will you not then reflect? (155) Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? (156) Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! (157) And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. (158) Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. (159) all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. (160) Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, (161) Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. (162) Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. (163) There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); (164) "And we are truly those who stand in rows, (165) and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" (166) They used to say: (167) "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). (168) "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" (169) But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. (170) We decreed that Our Messenger servants (171) will certainly be victorious (172) And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. (173) So turn (away) from them for a while. (174) And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! (175) Our torment seek they to hasten on! (176) But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! (177) And turn thou aside from them for a season. (178) And watch, for they will soon see. (179) Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. (180) And peace upon the messengers. (181) And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. (182)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
