Hizb 46
Juz 23
AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers (139) He fled to the overloaded ship. (140) So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. (141) The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) (142) Had he not been one of those who acknowledge the glory of God, (143) He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. (144) ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; (145) And We made a gourd tree grow over him. (146) We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, (147) And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. (148) AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? (149) Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? (150) It is only because of their false invention that they say, (151) "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] (152) Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? (153) What is amiss with you and your judgment? (154) Will ye not then be admonished? (155) Or have ye a clear warrant? (156) Bring your Book, if you are truthful. (157) And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; (158) Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; (159) Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. (160) So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, (161) shall not be able to tempt anyone away from Allah (162) Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. (163) [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. (164) we are the rangers, (165) And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). (166) And they surely were wont to say: (167) "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, (168) then were we God's sincere servants.' (169) But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! (170) And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, (171) that they shall receive Our help (172) and Our host -- they are the victors. (173) So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, (174) Watch them: they will soon see. (175) Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? (176) When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. (177) And turn away from them for some time. (178) And watch, for they will soon see. (179) LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! (180) And peace be on the Messengers! (181) And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. (182)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
