Hizb 46
Juz 23
And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. (139) Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, (140) and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. (141) Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. (142) But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), (143) He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; (144) ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. (145) And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; (146) And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. (147) And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. (148) AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? (149) Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? (150) No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: (151) “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! (152) "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! (153) “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” (154) Then will you not be reminded? (155) Or do you have a clear authority? (156) Bring your book if what you say is true. (157) And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). (158) Glory be to God above that they describe, (159) except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. (160) So surely you and what you worship, (161) Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], (162) Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. (163) And there is none of us but has an assigned place, (164) And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. (165) And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." (166) AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, (167) 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, (168) "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" (169) But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! (170) And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, (171) That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. (172) And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. (173) So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, (174) And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! (175) What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? (176) When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! (177) And turn thou aside from them for a season. (178) and watch. They, too, will watch. (179) Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) (180) And Peace on the messengers! (181) And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! (182)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
