Hizb 46
Juz 23
And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. (139) When he ran to the laden ship, (140) And he drew lots and was among the losers. (141) So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself (142) And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, (143) He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; (144) ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, (145) And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. (146) We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. (147) and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. (148) Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" (149) Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? (150) Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: (151) “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! (152) "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! (153) What ails you that you judge in such a wise? (154) Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? (155) Do you have any clear authority for such claims? (156) Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. (157) And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! (158) Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. (159) except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. (160) For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- (161) Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. (162) Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. (163) [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; (164) Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, (165) and we glorify God". (166) And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; (167) 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, (168) we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' (169) And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: (170) And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: (171) that it is certainly they who will be helped; (172) And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. (173) So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, (174) and watch them. They, too, will watch. (175) Do they want to hasten Our punishment? (176) Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. (177) And turn thou aside from them for a season. (178) and see, soon they shall see! (179) Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. (180) And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. (181) And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. (182)
Almighty God's Truth.
