Hizb 46
Juz 23
And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) (139) When he fled unto the laden ship, (140) And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). (141) And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; (142) And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, (143) he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; (144) ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, (145) And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. (146) And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. (147) And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. (148) Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. (149) Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” (150) Is it not of their own calumny that they say, (151) "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! (152) Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? (153) What is amiss with you and your judgment? (154) Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? (155) Or have you clear evidence? (156) Bring your book if what you say is true. (157) And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. (158) Exalted is Allah above what they describe, (159) except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. (160) But as for you, and that you serve, (161) You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him (162) Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. (163) There is not one of us but hath his known position. (164) And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. (165) And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). (166) And indeed the disbelievers used to say, (167) "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). (168) “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” (169) but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! (170) And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: (171) that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, (172) And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. (173) (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while (174) And (then) see them, so they too shall see. (175) Do they want to hasten Our punishment? (176) When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. (177) So turn thou away from them for a little while, (178) and see, soon they shall see! (179) Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. (180) So peace be on the messengers, (181) And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! (182)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
