Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] (1) By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), (2) Thou art indeed one of the messengers, (3) On a straight path. (4) [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, (5) That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. (6) The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. (7) We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, (8) And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. (9) And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. (10) You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. (11) It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register.
