Juz 22
Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) (1) By the Wise Qur'an, (2) Thou art indeed one of the messengers, (3) On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). (4) This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. (5) That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. (6) Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. (7) We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. (8) And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. (9) It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. (10) Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! (11) Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear.
