Initiator (Faater)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan) before Mary (Maryam)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
ALL PRAISE BE to God, the originator of the heavens and the earth, who appointed angels as His messengers, with wings, two, three and four. He adds what He pleases to His creation. He has certainly power over everything. (1) Whatever Mercy Allah accords to people, none can withhold; and whatever He withholds, no other will be able to release after Him. He is Most Mighty, Most Wise. (2) People, remember the blessings of Allah to you. Except for Allah, is there any other creator who provides for you out of heaven and earth? There is no god except He. Where then do you turn? (3) If they cry lies to thee, Messengers before thee were cried lies to; and unto God all matters are returned. (4) O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. (5) Behold, Satan is a foe unto you: so treat him as a foe. He but calls on his followers to the end that they might find themselves among such as are destined for the blazing flame (6) A severe chastisement lies in store for those that disbelieve, but there is pardon and a great reward for those that believe and work righteous deeds. (7)
