Initiator (Faater)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan) before Mary (Maryam)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise belongs for Allah, the Originator of the heavens and earth, who appointed the angels to be Messengers, with wings, two, three, and four. He increases the creation as He wills. Allah has power over all things. (1) No one can withhold the mercy which Allah opens to mankind; and whatever He withholds so after it, none can release it; and only He is the Most Honourable, the Wise. (2) O mankind! remember the favour of Allah toward you. Is there any Creator other than Allah who provideth for you from the heaven and the earth? There is no god but He. Wither then are ye deviating? (3) If they reject you, other Messengers had certainly been rejected before you. All decisions are in the hands of God. (4) O people! Allah’s promise is indeed true; therefore do not ever let the worldly life deceive you; nor ever let the great cheat deceive you in respect of Allah’s commands. (5) Indeed Satan is your enemy, therefore you too take him as an enemy; he only calls his group so that they become the people of hell! (6) Those who are bent on denying the truth will have a severe punishment, while those who believe and do good deeds will have forgiveness and a great reward. (7)
