Initiator (Faater)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan) before Mary (Maryam)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Maker of the angels, apostles flying on wings, two, and three, and four; He increases in creation what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things. (1) Whatsoever of mercy Allah may grant unto mankind none there is to withhold it; and whatsoever He may withhold none there is to release it thereafter. And He is the Mighty, the Wise. (2) O people, remember Allah's favour upon you. Is there any creator, apart from Allah, who provides you your sustenance out of the heavens and earth? There is no god but He. Whither are you, then, being misdirected? (3) If they reject you, other Messengers had certainly been rejected before you. All decisions are in the hands of God. (4) O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. (5) satan is indeed your enemy; therefore take him for an enemy. He calls his party so that they will become the companions of the Blaze. (6) Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward. (7)
