Sheba (Saba)
54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Luqmaan (Luqmaan) before The Throngs (Al-Zumer)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is to Allah to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth and His is the praise in the Hereafter; and He is the Wise, the All Aware. (1) He knows what penetrates into the earth and what goes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving. (2) Those who disbelieve say: "The Hour will not come to us." Say: "Yes, by my Lord, it will come to you." (Allah, He is) the AllKnower of the unseen, not even the weight of an atom (or a small ant) or less than that or greater, escapes from His Knowledge in the heavens or in the earth, but it is in a Clear Book (AlLauh AlMahfuz). (3) That He may reward those who believe and do good; these it is for whom is forgiveness and an honorable sustenance. (4) But those who strive against Our revelations, challenging (Us), theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. (5) And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy. (6) Those who disbelieve say: "Shall we direct you to a man (Muhammad SAW) who will tell you (that) when you have become fully disintegrated into dust with full dispersion, then, you will be created (again) anew?" (7) Has he invented about Allah a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error. (8) So did they not see what is before them and what is behind them in the sky and the earth? If We will, We can bury them into the earth or cause a part of the sky to fall on them; indeed in this is a sign for every repentant bondman. (9)
