O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allah cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished. (69) Believers, have fear of God and speak righteous words. (70) [whereupon] He will cause your deeds to be virtuous, and will forgive you your sins. And [know that] whoever pays heed unto God and His Apostle has already attained to a mighty triumph. (71) We indeed offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused it and were afraid of it and man accepted it; indeed he is one who puts himself into hardship, is extremely unwise. (72) (The consequence of man's carrying the trust is) that Allah may chastise hypocritical men and hypocritical women and accept the repentance of believing men and believing women. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (73)
