And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]. So be not you in doubt of meeting him [i.e. when you met Musa (Moses) during the night of Al-Isra' and Al-Mi'raj over the heavens]. And We made it [the Taurat (Torah)] a guide to the Children of Israel. (23) And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. (24) Verily thy Lord! He shall decide between them on the Day of Judgment concerning that wherein they have been differing. (25) Is it not a guidance for them (to observe) how many generations We destroyed before them, amid whose dwelling places they do walk? Lo! therein verily are portents! Will they not then heed? (26) Have they not seen how We lead the water to the barren land and therewith bring forth crops whereof their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will they not then see? (27) They say, "If what you say is true, when will the final triumph come?" (28) Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. (29) So turn thou away from them, and wait; they too are waiting. (30)
