And if you see when the guilty will hang their heads before their Lord; “Our Lord! We have seen and heard, therefore send us back in order that we do good deeds we are now convinced!” (12) And had We willed We would have given every soul its guidance, but My Word is decreed that I will certainly fill hell with these jinns and men, combined. (13) So taste, because you neglected the meeting of this day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding chastisement for what you did. (14) Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and hymn the praise of their Lord, and they are not scornful, ۩ (15) Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord, in Fear and Hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them. (16) No soul knows what joy is kept hidden in store for them as a reward for their labours. (17) Is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor? No, they are not alike. (18) For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds. (19) As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false." (20) We shall certainly make them suffer worldly torment before suffering the great torment so that perhaps they may return to Us. (21) And who could be more wicked than he to whom his Sustainer's messages are conveyed and who thereupon turns away from them? Verily, We shall inflict Our retribution on those who are [thus] lost in sin! (22)
