34 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat) before Sheba (Saba)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Alif-Lam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah, and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) (1) These are the verses of the Book of wisdom. (2) providing guidance and grace unto the doers of good (3) Those who keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and they are certain of the hereafter. (4) These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper. (5) And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. (6) When Our verses are recited before them they turn away haughtily as though they did not hear them, as if a deafness had come into their ears. So give them tidings of a shameful punishment. (7) Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. (8) Wherein they will abide. It is a promise of Allah in truth. He is the Mighty, the Wise. (9) He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs. (10) Such is the Creation of Allah: now show Me what is there that others besides Him have created: nay, but the Transgressors are in manifest error. (11)
