34 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat) before Sheba (Saba)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif-Lam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah, and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) (1) These are the verses of the Book of wisdom. (2) a guide and a mercy for those who do good, (3) Those who establish worship and pay the poor-due and have sure faith in the Hereafter. (4) It is they who are on guidance from their Lord, and only they are the successful. (5) But among men are also those who spread frivolous stories to mislead (others) from the way of God, without any knowledge, and take it lightly. For such as these the nemesis will be shameful. (6) And when Our signs are recited to such a man he turns away, waxing proud, as though he heard them not, and in his ears were heaviness; so give him good tidings of a painful chastisement. (7) Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure. (8) to abide therein in accordance with God's true promise: for He alone is almighty, truly wise. (9) He created the heavens without any pillars visible to you and He placed mountains in the earth as pegs lest it should turn topsy turvy with you, and He dispersed all kinds of animals over the earth, and sent down water from the sky causing all kinds of excellent plants to grow on it. (10) Such is Allah's creation. Show me, then, what any others, apart from Allah, have created. Nay, the fact is that the wrong-doers are in manifest error. (11)
